I present an overview of the experimental determination of |Vub| from inclusive and 
exclusive B semileptonic decays.  The overview will include an introduction to the close 
interaction between theory and experiment in extraction of |Vub|, as well as to some of 
the experimental techniques brought to bear in the measurements.
