Abstract:

I summarize the various theoretical frameworks for hadronic B decays with emphasis on
calculational frameworks and new theoretical results that have become available recently. 
I examine how these results affect the description of data and discuss a few selected 
features of the data that shed light on CKM parameters or hadronic dynamics.
