European Conference On Nonlinear Optical Spectroscopy

Fourth Announcement

The conference is the 4^th in the annual series of meetings begun in 2002 that continues the tradition established by the former European CARS Workshops. The scope of the conference has widened to include all forms of non-linear optical spectroscopy, theoretical and experimental studies and applications. Topics include, but are not limited to, Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Spectroscopy CARS, other forms of coherent Raman spectroscopy, Four-Wave Mixing and other third-(or higher)-order processes in the time and frequency domain. Contributions on applications in physics, chemistry, engineering, bio-medical research and other inter-disciplinary areas are particularly welcome.

The Conference will be held in Worcester College, Oxford and will begin on Sunday evening 10 April with a Reception and end on Tuesday afternoon 12 April 2005. Accommodation and meals will also be provided in the College. In order to take advantage of cheaper return air fares including a Saturday night accommodation may be reserved for the night of Saturday 9 April in the College. It is hoped to provide a social programme on the afternoon of Sunday 10 April for attendees arriving early. Attendees may make alternative accommodation arrangements via the local tourist office in hotels, guest houses or B&Bs in the city or nearby.
