Short Options

The Short Options for the academic year 2011/12 are listed below. Each course is covered by 12 lectures and examined in a 1½ hour paper.  The column labelled 'Years' indicates the year or years in which it would be most appropriate to offer the option (for assumed prior knowledge, for example). The column labelled 'Term' gives the term in which the option will be given - for the detailed timetable and location consult the lecture list.

For administrative details, rules and allowed substitutions see the Short Options pages of the Physics Undergraduate Course Handbook. This page provides links to enable you to find out more information about the content of the individual short options. A Short Option subject may only be offered once.
