Conferences

The Department of Physics welcomes both small and large companies to use its meeting rooms and conference facilities known as the Martin Wood Complex in the University vacation period.

The Martin Wood Complex is located within a 10 minute walk from the heart of historic Oxford and situated right next to the University Parks, which consist of 70 acres of parkland on the West bank of the River Cherwell, together with a 4 acre spur of land running towards the south. The complex has the convenience of the City and the enjoyment of the countryside all within easy reach.

Availability

The Department of Physics facilities are only available during the Oxford University vacations. The exact dates vary from year to year, but generally the periods are:

• Mid-end of March and first two weeks of April
• End of June
• July
• August
• September
• Beginning of December
