The annual conference of the High Energy Particle Physics group of the
Institute of Physics is an opportunity for the particle physics community
to review progress in the field and look forward to future opportunities.
The meeting has a strong national flavour and the parallel sessions offer
the chance for our postgraduate research students to present their PhD
thesis work. The meeting will take place at the University of Oxford
between the 6 and the 8 April 2009.
- Registration will open earlier at 11.00am on Monday morning in the Martin Wood
Complex, Clarendon Laboratory, Parks Road. (Map)
- Lunch (commencing at 12 on Monday), Tea & Coffee will be served in the
Martin Wood Complex each day.
- The majority of talks will take place in the Martin Wood Complex, some parallel
sessions will take place in the Denys Wilkinson Building (more information will
be available in your conference pack).
- You may wish to check into your accommodation at Balliol Lodge
before arriving at the Conference venue as Balliol is en-route from the Bus and
Railway Stations.
