Generic Sensor R&D and applications

  • SPiDeR: Silicon Pixel Detector R&D. Development generic CMOS pixel detectors for future linear colliders.
  • PImMS: Pixel Imaging Mass Spectrometry. Applications of fast CCD and CMOS sensors for TOF MS and ion imaging.

 

  • TOF-PET: Time of Flight Positron Emission Tomography

 

  • CPCCD for TEM: Column Parallel CCDs for Transition Electron Microscopy (project ended in 2008)

 

Vertex Detector R&D for Linear Colliders

  • ISIS: In Situ Imaging Sensor. CMOS pixel sensor with multiple charge storage
  • PLUME: Design and construction of light and precise ladders for ILC vertex detector
  • LCFI: Various aspects of VD R&D (project ended in 2008)
