The 2007 Oxford Kids' University programme will take place on Friday the 21st of September 2007 - the theme for this year's event is Energy. All events take place in the Martin Wood complex in the Clarendon Labs on Parks Road in Oxford.

This event is organised by Dr. Zareen Ahmed-Stewart, Schools Liaison Officer for the Department of Physics. Feel free to e-mail her if you require further details.

The League of European Research Universities (LERU) was founded in 2002 as an association of twelve research-intensive universities sharing the values of high-quality teaching within an environment of internationally competitive research. In 2004 eight LERU members put forward a successful proposal to the European Commission to fund a one-week Kids' University for 10-12 year olds. The Kids' University aims to improve the image and popularity of science amongst young people, in particular Physics. The 2005 LERU Kids' University took place between 7-12th November in the framework of European Science Week and the World Year of Physics.
