FAQ - Ordering papers
Is my school eligible for two free entries of the BPhO paper?
Only schools that have not taken part in the competition are eligible. If you think your school may be entering for the first time please email BPhO@physics.ox.ac.uk.
How do I receive my two free entries to BPhO Round 1?
If your school has not previously taken part in the British Physics Olympiad you will be eligible for two free entries to BPhO Round 1. Please contact BPhO@physics.ox.ac.uk and we will check our records and send you a link to apply for the free papers.
How do I receive my free electronic copies of the AS Challenge and GCSE Challenge?
This year the AS Challenge and GCSE Challenge papers are available free electronically to all schools. Please use the online shop to order your free electronic copies of the paper, mark scheme and certificates.
My school cannot order a paper until after the deadline for entry. Can we still enter?
Yes, orders submitted after the deadline and before the test date are accepted but papers will be sent out electronically. /p>
The solutions for the BPhO paper need to be back with us for marking by Fri 18th November 2011.
Orders can be made online here. A school credit card number will be required. If you have any problems please contact BPhO@physics.ox.ac.uk.
When can I expect my certificates to arrive?
We aim to have the BPhO Round 1 certificates with schools six weeks after the test dates. Other certificates should be with you no later than three weeks after your order.
I have tried using the online system and I have experienced a technical problem.

Email subject line: Paper and/or certificate order

o School name
o Address of school
o Number of orders (papers and/or different types certificates)
o The problem with online store
We will invoice your school at a later date.
