The International Scientific Committee will meet during the PHYSTAT05 at Oxford to decide whether we want to continue with
this series of Conferences. If so, the time and place need to be considered. As far as the timing is concerned, the CERN/Fermilab,
Durham, SLAC and Oxford meetings have been separated by 18 months to 2 years, so this would suggest a date in Spring or Summer
2007. Perhaps something a bit earlier than September would be preferable so as not to clash with Universities who start their
teaching year early.
If you would like your Institute to be considered as a possible location for the next meeting, please send a brief (non-binding)
statement to Louis Lyons (email@example.com). Any
other suggestions concerning the PHYSTAT series of meetings are also welcome.
