Alyson joined the department in July 2020 and is working with Philip Stier on the FORCES project to understand aerosol-cloud interactions with environmental constraints in order to improve global climate models. She graduated with her PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from UW-Madison from advisor Tristan L'Ecuyer. Her graduate work focused on observing aerosol-cloud interactions in warm clouds.
