Who am I?
I'm a Particle Physics DPhil student under the supervision of Philip Burrows. I am also part of the CERN Doctoral Programme under the supervision of Matthew Fraser. I joined Oxford in 2020 after completing my Masters in Applied Physics from Royal Holloway and my BSc in Applied Mathematics & Applied Physics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
What do I study?
In my research I use numerical modelling, analytical tools and automation for understanding, optimising and controlling the beam dynamics of resonant extraction from synchrotrons. I try to follow an interdisciplinary approach and use tools from classical mechanics, statistics, stochastic processes, signal processing and control theory. I currently collaborate with CERN for fundamental physics experiments, with ESA for space electronics irradiation and with MedAustron for hadron cancer therapy.
