William Penney Fellowships
In addition to funding a number of studentships and conferences, AWE also sponsors a number of leading academics at UK universities whose research interests overlap with their own via the William Penney Fellowship scheme. These Fellows act as ambassadors for AWE within their fields of expertise, and stimulate mutually beneficial collaborative links between AWE and UK academia. Two William Penney Fellows currently work at the University of Oxford: Professor Peter Norreys and Professor Justin Wark.
