Curious about where physics or astrophysics could take you? Our Year 10 and 11 Physics Taster Morning brings the subject to life through interactive workshops, insights into studying physics at university, and the chance to put your questions to current undergraduate students. Join us live online or catch up afterwards with on-demand videos.
Our online taster mornings take place once a term. They are open to all young people who are studying maths and physics and take place on zoom on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 12:45

EMPower Oxford
Explore where science could take you with EMPower Oxford, an exciting programme for Year 10 and 11 students of Black heritage. Discover Physics, Engineering and Materials Science through online workshops and academic mentoring, connect with inspiring scientists and role models, and build your confidence and skills in STEM. Some Year 10 students will also have the opportunity to experience life at Oxford through a residential programme.

Other Events and Programmes
COMPOS is a programme of weekly tutorials and assignments ran by a dedicated team of tutors which you can join at the start of the academic year in either Year 10 or 11.
We partner with the British Physics Olympiad team to run in person problem solving events for Year 10 students. Watch this space for details of any of those events!
We also work with the team at Isaac Science and highly recommend their online problem solving events!
