  • About

Postdoctoral Research Assistant on the JAI-STELLA-MLC project.

I hold an MSc in AI and Robotics from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in South Korea and completed my PhD at Heriot-Watt University, where I focused on designing miniaturised opto-mechanical instruments for surgical applications.

My current research focuses on developing a robust Multileaf Collimator (MLC) for the STELLA project, analysing mechanical failure modes and actuation systems to reduce device downtime and improve radiotherapy access in resource-constrained settings.
