Abstract:

This file contains data generated from ORAC (Optimal Retrieval of Aerosol and Cloud) retrievals of spherical ice particles, in the context of volcanic ice-ring analysis. It also contains lower–middle stratosphere temperature perturbations inferred from Himwawari thermal infrared brightness temperature measurements. These data accompany the paper "Transient ice ring observed during the 15 January 2022 eruption of Hunga volcano" by Prata et al. accepted for publication in the journal Communications Earth and Environment.
