  • About

Sebastian is a graduate student in the Laser-Plasma Accelerator Group under the supervision of prof. Simon Hooker. His work aims to demonstrate the acceleration of electrons to GeV-scale energies at kHz repetition rate using lasers.

Sebastian joined the group in the fall of 2022 after obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Physics at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). Sebastian was a summer student at CERN in 2021 and an intern at ELI Beamlines (Prague) in 2020, where he discovered his interest in Laser Wakefield Acceleration.
