Information day: Friday 18 September 2026

A condensed version of the summer open days, offering admissions talks and the chance to speak with college tutors, we are open from 10:00 - 16:00. Physics tutors will be available to answer questions all day. 

Talks given in the department will be:

10:15-11:15: Admissions talk/Q&A
12:30-13:30: Families, supporters and teachers talk/Q&A 
14:00-15:00: Taster lecture 
14:00-15:00: Families, supporters and teachers talk/Q&A (repeat of morning session) 
15:00-16:00: Admissions talk/Q&A (repeat of morning session) 

You do not need to book to attend, but spaces in the lecture theatres for the morning talks will be given to prospective applicants only. Parents and supporters will be welcome to join the afternoon admissions talk. 

Many other departments and colleges will also be open on these days, some of which you do need to book to attend. For more details please see the University's Open Day information.
