With more than 10 years' experience in supporting grant applications, I lead the Research Facilitation team. We support for the Department's research mission by providing help and guidance with all aspects of application for research funding, both external and internal University funds. We support members of the Department as well as external fellowship applicants. More information can be found on the Research Facilitation pages linked below.
I also provide Research Support beyond applications, including supporting REF submissions, leading our support for Trusted Research, and providing other support to the Head of Department and senior management as needed.
Short bio: I studied Natural Sciences, specialising in Chemistry, at Cambridge, followed by a DPhil in Organic Chemistry at Oxford. After postdoctoral work in the then-vice Chancellor's research group (Andy Hamilton), in 2012 I moved to my first research support role in the Structural Genomics Consortium (part of the Nuffield Department of Medicine in the Medical Sciences Division here in Oxford). I joined Physics in summer 2014 and have thoroughly enjoyed working here ever since.
