Congratulations to Hannah, who has received a 2026 MPLS Teaching Award for her teaching of the first-year Physics course Normal Modes and Waves. The annual awards recognise excellence and innovation in education across Oxford’s Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division.
The award recognises Hannah’s engaging and accessible teaching, including the use of physical demonstrations and real-world examples to develop intuition alongside the mathematical material. Student feedback particularly highlighted the clarity of the lectures and their impact on understanding and engagement.
