Abstract

The BESIII detector located at the BEPCII electron-positron collider functions as a charm factory. Due to the electron-positron collision, and full coverage of the detector, the data can realise a number of precision measurements that are hard to achieve elsewhere. In this talk, I will focus on the unique capabilities of BESIII and show some of the key highlights of results. These include leptonic decays, the ability to probe Lc decays , and the programme of measurements of hadronic strong phase parameters which serve as key inputs to CPV measurements at LHCb and BELLE II.
