Physics Access Officer, Kat O'Brien Skerry: kathryn.obrienskerry@physics.ox.ac.uk
Considering applying to Oxford to study Physics? Join us for a day of finding out more - about Oxford, about Physics, and about what you can do to take your studies to the next level.
As well as including our Physics Access Officer's guide to Oxford admissions, this day of online workshops and lectures will also feature a lecture on cutting edge physics research and interactive problem-solving workshops, plus a chance for you to put your questions to our panel of current Oxford Physics students.
Please note: this event is identical to the Masterclass event on the 7th June 2025. You should not register to attend both events.
Registration & Eligibility
You need to register in advance for this event. The deadline for registration is 5pm on Monday the 24th February 2025.
This event is targeted at students in Year 12 (or equivalent) at state (non-fee-paying) schools, studying Maths and Physics. However, if we have capacity, we will also open the event to as many students as we are able to, regardless of their school type. In addition, anyone can register to receive the recording of the event. If the event becomes over-subscribed, we will prioritise students from the above schools and those with little or no history of applications to Oxford.
The event will be available as both a live online event and as on-demand videos for later catch-up. Students who attend the live event will be able to ask questions and interact with the speakers through the online webinar platform.
Complete the registration form via the link below. We will let you know if we have space for you to attend the live event by noon on Friday the 28th February 2025 at the latest.
