Funding the physicists of the future

Oxford Physics Endowment for Graduates (OXPEG) provides essential scholarships and flexible financial support to graduate students. Since it was set up in 2016, we have been able to fund nine exceptionally talented physicists as they embark upon their DPhil studies here at Oxford; OXPEG makes sure that we can attract the best possible candidates from around the world, and foster the keenest minds, regardless of financial circumstances or backgrounds.

‘Our graduate students contribute enormously to the work of our department, formulating new ideas and finding novel answers to pressing technical challenges. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our OXPEG scholars have been able to play their role in advancing our understanding of the universe in areas such as astrophysics, particle physics and theoretical physics. We are incredibly grateful to each and every person who has donated to OXPEG.’
