Professor Julia Yeomans FRS has been awarded the European Physical Society Condensed Matter Division’s Liquid Matter Prize for her pioneering role in developing models and algorithms to increase our understanding of a wide range of complex fluids and flowing biological matter.

The Liquid Matter Prize is awarded every three years to recognise outstanding achievements in the files of physics of the liquid state, soft condensed matter physics or granular physics.
