I am a Senior Research Scientist of the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS). My expertise is in understanding and modelling dynamical processs in the stratosphere and their impact on surface weather, with an emphasis on natural variablilty. This includes studies of sudden stratospheric warmings, the quasi biennial oscillation (QBO), semi-annual oscillation (SAO) and the impact of explosive volcanic and the 11-year solar cycle.

Stratospheric Dynamics
Stratosphere Troposphere Interaction
