My research involves using X-ray techniques to study organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides, for piezoelectric and photovoltaic applications. I am investigating the structural design and induction of piezoelectricity in a set of novel systems. I am also investigating crystallisation processes from solution of perovskite photovoltaic thin films.

Research interests

piezoelectricity
hybrid lead-free materials
crystallography
perovskite photovoltaics
X-ray diffraction
