I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford. I'm particularly interested in understanding gas in, around, and beyond galaxies and how it is connected to the galaxy evolution.
For my research, I take both observational and numerical approaches to draw a coherent picture of galaxies in the Universe. On the observational side, I use radio wavelength observations such as the MeerKAT International GHz Tiered Extragalactic Exploration (MIGHTEE) and Polarisation Sky Survey of the Universe's Magnetism (POSSUM). On the simulations side, my scope of interest ranges from small-scale idealized simulations to large-volume cosmological simulations.
A full list of my publications can be found here. My CV can be found here.
I completed my MSc in Astronomy from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea supervised by Prof. Sukyoung Yi. Shortly after, I worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Victoria, Canada with Prof. Arif Babul. I received PhD in Astronomy from the Australian National University supervised by Prof. Naomi McClure-Griffiths.
