As Head of HR, I am part of the Physics Administration Team and I am responsible for leading the HR team and leading on the development of people-related strategies in the Department working closely with the Academic Leadership Team. My aim is to engage with all staff groups to provide strategic insights and recommendations for improvements to HR operations and services generally as well as supporting the delivery of the Department's strategic objectives in respect of people.
My role will also work closely with the Associate Head of Department for Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (ED&I) to develop and facilitate initiatives to advance equality and diversity as it relates to all protected characteristics and to overarching issues of the working and learning environment in the department.
