Measurement of the masses and widths of the ∑c ++ and ∑c 0 charmed baryons
Physical Review D - Particles, Fields, Gravitation and Cosmology 65:7 A (2002) 711011-711014
Abstract:
Using data recorded by the CLEO II and CLEO II.V detector configurations at CESR, we report new measurements of the masses of the ∑c++ and ∑c0 charmed baryons, and the first measurements of their intrinsic widths. We find M(∑c++)-M(Λc+) =167.4±0.1±0.2 MeV, Γ(∑c++)=2.3±0.2±0.3 MeV, and M(∑c0) -M(Λc+)=167.2±0.1±0.2 MeV, Γ(∑c0)=2.5±0.2±0.3 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.Search for CP violation in τ → Kπντ Decays
Physical Review Letters 88:11 (2002) 1118031-1118035
Abstract:
The origin and source of CP violation in fundamental fermion interactions was discussed. The CP violation in Lepton decay was analyzed in the context of a model where the CP symmetry was broken. No evidence of violation was found in lepton decays into the final state. Limits on the imaginary part of the coupling constant were provided describing a relative contribution of the CP violating processes with respect to the standard model. Systematic errors were estimated in order to estimate the limits on CP violating parameter.Search for CP violation in tau--> K(pi)nu(tau) decays.
Phys Rev Lett 88:11 (2002) 111803
Abstract:
We search and find no evidence for CP violation in tau decays into the K(pi)nu(tau) final state. We provide limits on the imaginary part of the coupling constant Lambda describing a relative contribution of the CP violating processes with respect to the standard model to be -0.172Observation of exclusive B̄ → D(*) K*- decays
Physical Review Letters 88:10 (2002) 1018031-1018035
Abstract:
The exclusive decays B̄ → D(*)K*-, using 9.66 × 106 BB̄ pairs collected at the γ(4S) with the CLEO detector was reported. Some branching fractions were measured such as β(B- → D0K*-) = (6.1 ± 1.6 ± 1.7) × 10-4. It was found that the B̄ → D*K*- branching ratios were averages of those corresponding to the 00 and 11 helicity states.Observation of exclusive B --> D(*)K(*-) decays.
