Multiple pulse resonantly enhanced laser plasma wakefield acceleration
AIP Conference Proceedings 1507 (2012) 872-873
Abstract:
We present an outline of experiments being conducted at Oxford University on multiple-pulse, resonantly-enhanced laser plasma wakefield acceleration. This method of laser plasma acceleration uses trains of optimally spaced low energy short pulses to drive plasma oscillations and may enable laser plasma accelerators to be driven by compact and efficient fibre laser sources operating at high repetition rates. © 2012 American Institute of Physics.Inclusive-jet photoproduction at HERA and determination of α s

Measurement of isolated photons accompanied by jets in deep inelastic ep scattering
Physics Letters, Section B: Nuclear, Elementary Particle and High-Energy Physics 715:1-3 (2012) 88-97
Abstract:
The production of isolated high-energy photons accompanied by jets has been measured in deep inelastic ep scattering with the ZEUS detector at HERA, using an integrated luminosity of 326pb -1. Measurements were made for exchanged photon virtualities, Q 2, in the range 10 to 350GeV 2. The photons were measured in the transverse-energy and pseudorapidity ranges 4Search for first-generation leptoquarks at HERA
