Neutrino physics

Proceedings of Science (2009)

Abstract:

Neutrino physics experienced an explosion of new results around the turn of the century, and is now poised for another leap with a set of new experiments in preparation. The purpose of this article, like the talk it was based on, is to provide a global context to the various neutrino projects and topics discussed at the conference and say a few words about other related projects that might help explain and motivate the interest in them. It is certainly not a global review of neutrino physics (which would require far too much space)! I have not provided references to those experiments/projects discussed at the conference, as you should look at the specific presentations by the real experts to get more information. I have provided a few references for those topics I thought important to discuss which weren't otherwise discussed at the conference. © Copyright owned by the author(s) under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Licence.
