The Atomic and Laser Physics sub-department at the University of Oxford is holding an in-person open day for prospective DPhil applicants on Monday 4 December 2023.
This will be an opportunity to meet supervisors and the teams of talented young scientists who are currently researching Atomic and Laser Physics. The event will take place from 10am to 4pm in the Department of Physics.
There will be an introduction from the ALP Director of Graduate Studies and talks from different research groups, as well as an opportunity to meet with supervisors. There will also be a question-and-answer session, and sessions led by current students.
There may be the opportunity for a limited number of in-person lab tours; please express interest in this when registering and mention whose lab you would like to visit.
