The Departments of Physics and Engineering Sciences at Oxford are part of ZEBAI, a major new initiative to revolutionise the way zero-emission buildings are designed. Professor Sonia Antoranz Contera, pictured above, from the Department of Physics, will be working with Professor Antoine Jérusalem from the Department of Engineering Science, on the experimental mechanical charaterisation of materials used in buildings across Europe.
