My Research Interests
My research interests lie in understanding Dark Energy and Dark Matter and I currently work mainly on the LSST/Rubin Telescope ( https://www.lsst.org/about) Control System Camera - the largest (3.2 GigaPixel!) digital camera in the world. I also spend a smaller fraction of my time on the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) at Fermilab (https://www.dunescience.org/). I participate in both experimental efforts with a view to multi-messenger physics when these projects are built and operating. In the past I have worked mainly on precision experiments most recently on the muon gyromagnetic ratio experiment at Fermilab ( https://muon-g-2.fnal.gov/,https://www.fnal.gov). Our most recent results was featured prominently in the press (https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/07/science/particle-physics-muon-fermilab-brookhaven.html) in the past I worked mainly on the physics of particles containing a beauty quark at the CDF and CLEO-II experiments.
