I am currently on leave from the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. I obtained my PhD in 2000 from the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris working on the theory of galaxy formation and evolution. I subsequently became a Leverhulme post-doctoral fellow in the Astrophysics department at the University of Oxford and a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson college. Following a post-doctoral fellowship at the Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon, I became part of the Research Staff before coming back to Oxford as a Departmental Lecturer. I am now Professor of Astrophysics and Tutor in Physics, Tutor for Admissions and Outreach and Fellow of Oriel college.
