I joined the Physics Research Facilitation Team in November 2018. My role is to support the Department by facilitating research related activities including applications for external research grants and fellowships. Please see our team's webpages for more information about how we can help you with your applications.
Before joining the Physics Department, I was a postdoc for 3 years in the Chemistry Research Laboratory in Oxford, where I also completed my DPhil in 2015. I have a Masters degree in Natural Sciences from the Univeristy of Cambridge. As a synthetic organic chemist my research involved finding new and improved ways to build and modify complex molecules, although it was the day-to-day lab management, equipment procurement and grant applications that I most enjoyed, and which motivated my move to a role in research support.
