Seismology! I work on earthquakes: on the Earth, Moon, and other planets.

I'm the co-chair of the Impacts Science Theme group for the NASA InSight mission to Mars, and was team lead on efforts to detect the landing of Perseverance and Zhurong using InSight. I also work on the Dragonfly mission to Titan, and have previously worked on data from the Apollo lunar missions and the the JAXA Hayabusa2 mission to the asteroid Ryugu.

Closer to home, I study the propagation of seismic waves in the Earth's oceans and atmosphere. I'm currently running a project to deploy seismometers to the Brunt Ice Shelf in Antarctica, in partnership with the British Antarctic Survey.
