ENHANCED NUCLEAR ACOUSTIC RESONANCE IN HoVO4.

(1984) 273-274

Authors:

B Bleaney, GAD Briggs, JF Gregg, GH Swallow, JMR Weaver

Abstract:

We report the first experiments at GHz frequencies on 'enhanced nuclear acoustic resonance'. Enhanced nuclear resonance of 165Ho has been observed using longitudinal acoustic waves propagated along the (100) axis of a single crystal of HoVO4, at frequencies of 0. 7 to 1. 6 GHz.
