I am an NSERC-funded DPhil candidate, working with Neil Bowles and Katherine Shirley in the Planetary Surfaces/ Space Instrumentation Group. I am currently associated with the Lunar Trailblazer Mission, a multinational small satellite initiative launched in February 2025 to map water-ice on the Moon’s surface. My research focuses on studying the spectral signatures of ice-regolith matrixes using FTIR spectroscopy with custom vacuum systems to simulate lunar surface conditions. I hold a First Class Master’s in Geochemistry from the University of Queensland, and have experience in instrument calibration, experiment design, and isotope geochemistry. Outside of academia and public outreach activities, you can find me gardening, playing piano, or zipping away for a fun backcountry ski adventure.
