Emily is in the second year of studying for her DPhil in Particle Physics as part of the John Adams Institute. She did her undergraduate degree at Royal Holloway, University of London. She has previously done a summer placement at UKAEA, a year in industry in the beam diagnostics department at Diamond Light Source, and a summer studentship at CERN, working on injection and extraction for the Future Circular Collider booster ring. Her DPhil project is on beam position monitors for the FCCee.
