My work aims at revealing structure-function-performance relationships in organic solar cells. I apply All-Small-Molecule blends, which I either cast from solution or evaporate in vacuum. These molecules are well-suited for industrial purposes as their synthesis is simpler and more reproducible than that of polymers. I characterize my samples with various optoelectronic and microstructure measurements and link these properties to each other and the device performance.

Previously, I was part of the START project [1] in the AFMD group, which involved close collaboration with Africa-based researchers. As of now, I hold an independent EPSRC Postdoctoral Fellowship [2]. I am also a David Clarke Fellow, which brings together early career researchers in energy with mentors from industry.

As of October 2024 and together with Prof. Moritz Riede, I’m co-founder of TerraChange Solar, where we develop commercial organic PV solutions.
