A Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Oxford, Mufei's research involves computational modeling for heat transport, machine learning for enhancing computational tools in inertial fusion and high-energy-density plasmas. Previous work has included laser-plasma interactions in inertial confinement fusion, laser-driven particle acceleration, and the development of X-ray source generation.
