Evidence is presented for the decay B+c → J/ψ3π+2π- using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb−1, collected with the LHCb detector. A signal yield of 32 ± 8 decays is found with a significance of 4.5 standard deviations. The ratio of the branching fraction of the B+c → J/ψ3π+2π- decay to that of the B+c → J/ψ3π+ decay is measured to be (Formula Presented) where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic.Measurement of charged particle multiplicities and densities in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV in the forward region

Charged particle multiplicities are studied in proton–proton collisions in the forward region at a centre-ofmass energy of √s = 7 TeV with data collected by the LHCb detector. The forward spectrometer allows access to a kinematic range of 2.0 < η < 4.8 in pseudorapidity, momenta greater than 2 GeV/c and transverse momenta greater than 0.2 GeV/c. The measurements are performed using events with at least one charged particle in the kinematic acceptance. The results are presented as functions of pseudorapidity and transverse momentum and are compared to predictions from several Monte Carlo event generators.Study of Beauty Hadron Decays into Pairs of Charm Hadrons

First observations of the decays Λ0b → Λc+D-(s) are reported using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb-1 collected at 7 and 8 TeV center-of-mass energies in proton-proton collisions with the LHCb detector. In addition, the most precise measurement of the branching fraction B(B0s → D+D-s) is made and a search is performed for the decays B0(s) → Λc+Λc-. The results obtained are (Equastion presented) Measurement of the mass of the Λ0b baryon relative to the B¯0 meson gives M(Λ0b) - M(B¯0) = 339.72±0.24(stat) ± 0.18(syst) MeV=c2.
