  • About

I am a graduate student on the NERC Environmental Research DTP. My research seeks to understand recent trends in the general atmospheric circulation, particularly those that are poorly reproduced in large, fully-coupled climate model simulations. Topics of interest include changes in the strength of the tropical Hadley cells, and the implications of trends in tropical sea surface temperatures (SSTs) for circulation outside the tropics.

My project is in collaboration with the Met Office as a CASE partner. I am supervised by Tim Woollings at Oxford and Nick Dunstone at the Met Office.
