I am a graduate student with the OPMD laboratory in the Particle Physics sub-department here at the University of Oxford. My work, under a joint-studentship between the University and Diamond Light Source, centres on the research and development of novel semiconductor detector technology for X-ray synchrotron applications.
Prior to this, I worked as a laboratory assistant in the Superconducting Quantum Detectors group in the University's Astrophysics sub-department. The position followed on from my master's degree at the University, for which I received the John Thresher Prize for an MPhys Project in Particle and Nuclear Physics.
