In my research, I confront various problems in theoretical particle physics and astrophysics, investigating previously unexplored solutions and analyzing possible ways to probe them experimentally.

In particular, I have recently been researching the implications of the electric-magnetic duality and charge quantization for electrodynamics in curved spacetime, as well as for the puzzles of dark matter and strong CP conservation. Together with my collaborators, we proposed new experiments that can probe hypothetical heavy magnetic monopoles and axions. In astrophysics, my research has revolved around the interplay between the physics of stellar objects and well-motivated beyond-the-Standard-model extensions of particle physics.
