I am a DPhil student in Astrophysics supervised by Prof. Matt Jarvis and Prof. Garret Cotter. My research focuses on measuring the radio luminosity function (RLF) using the data from the MIGHTEE survey. The radio luminosity function (RLF) is an important statistical tool to probe the distribution of galaxies over cosmological time and allows us to study the statistical nature of galaxy formation and evolution. Measuring the evolution of star-forming (SF) galaxies and active galactic nuclei (AGN) will make a significant impact on our understanding of the formation and evolution of galaxies over the cosmic epoch.
I previously studied for my MEng in Electronic and Software Engineering at the University of Ulster and MSc in Mechatronics at the University of Applied Sciences in Germany. I work as an Astronomy Oriented Software Developer for STFC RAL Space and part of the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project. I am doing DPhil as part of an industrial partnership with the University of Oxford and STFC RAL Space.
