Amy Wayland

I am a third-year DPhil student working with Professor David Alonso on large-scale structure cosmology, with interests in weak gravitational lensing, secondary CMB anisotropies, and baryonic effects. In particular, my research develops analytical and statistical methods for extracting cosmological information from complementary tracers of the large-scale structure. I combine theoretical modelling, simulations, and survey analysis to develop new tracers and to understand astrophysical and theoretical systematics for forthcoming cosmological surveys.

Previously, I completed a BSc in Physics with Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London and a MSc in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford.
