My Research

I try to combat climate change through the improvement of solar cell technology. To that end, I work on automating and improving the illuminated electrical characterization of the solar cells we make in our labs and the analysis and management of the data produced. I also work on the layout designs we use to structure our solar cells and various ways to improve our lab-scale device fabrication techniques. Having done significant work on the development of silver nanowire-based transparent conductors, I'm also interested in finding a suitable indium-free transparent conductor for photovoltaic applications.

Research interests

solar cell characterization
automation
data science
solar cells
perovskites
transparent conductors
electrical engineering
entrepreneurship and commercialization of PV tech.
