  • About

I am a first-year DPhil student in the plasma theory group supervised by Prof. Alexander Schekochihin. I’m primarily interested in the dynamics of long-standing structures of plasmas in phase space – phase-space holes – within the context of the collisionless relaxation of these plasmas to non-Maxwellian equilibria.

Prior to this, I graduated from the university’s Master of Mathematical and Theoretical Physics programme, where I wrote a dissertation with the same supervisor in the same research area – specifically looking at the effects of finite-mass hot ions on phase-space hole formation and dynamics.
